Object: Roger Rabbit Study
Materials: Sculpey Clay
Dimensions: 9.5 inches tall
Modeling study. Used to refine design before building the 3D model in the computer with Maya.
Roger obviously exists in drawings, so why is there a design to refine? Every drawing is cheated in such a way, so the individual drawing looks its best. These "inconsistencies" can make the interpretation into a 3 dimensional object while maintaining the personality of the character a challenge.
The model which was later built in the computer was then animated as a proof of concept in order to make a 3D cartoon version of Roger.
